History
PlacerWeb started out in 1994 as part of Psyberware, a local Internet access provider. A team was formed to provide business services for our small business clients and we called it Psyberware Business Services. In 1998 we realized that our growing web design team needed to be a separate business. We provided different services, to an entirely different customer base than the rest of the company.
PlacerWeb in its current form was born. We have continued our business focus and still concentrate on our core of designing great websites that get results. We continue to provide Dial-Up and DSL Internet access in partnership with Psyberware, and have added some more business technology and marketing services.
PlacerWeb is still a local business. Unlike most of our early competitors, we didn’t sell out. We plan on being here for a long time, working with you to achieve your organization's goals.
